Why it is important to clean up quickly after a fire?

If you have a fire in your home it is important to not let the smoke and soot sit for to long. In many cases if a lot of water is used to put the fire out it can cause significant damage. If the water sits for too long it can cause mold to grow into the home. 

Once all of the smoke, soot, and water is cleaned up, the damaged materials can be removed. Once they are removed, the rebuild can begin and the home can be put back to pre loss condition.
